Heart Shaped Dinner Rolls

Heart shaped dinner rolls are a fun and easy way to transform an ordinary dinner roll into a heart-shaped masterpiece. Whether it’s Valentine’s Day, your anniversary or any other special occasion, this bread is perfect for that special dinner.

Ingredients

Water | Active dry yeast Sugar | Vegetable Oil Salt | Flour | Butter

Instructions

In the bowl of a stand mixer, mix water, yeast, and sugar. Let stand until frothy. Add oil, salt and flour. Mix well.

Knead for 3-5 minutes, then cover and let rise until doubled in size, about 30-45 minutes. Punch down the dough, then place it on a lightly floured surface.

Divide the dough into individual piles of around 2 ounces. Roll each pile into a rod shape, then cut down the center to create a V shape. Fold down the V to create a heart shape.

Place rolls on a prepared baking sheet with plastic wrap to proof. Once ready, bake for 13-15 minutes at 375 degrees.
