Easy Cherry Hand Pies

These sweet and adorable cherry hand pies are the perfect treat to share with someone you love. They’re easy to make and so delicious!

Ingredients

Cherry Pie Filling Flour | Salt | Cold Butter Buttermilk | Egg | Water

Instructions

Mix together the flour and salt. Grate cold butter into the mixture, then cut it in. Add buttermilk and mix until dough starts to form. 

Turn the dough onto a floured surface and knead into a ball. Divide dough in half and shape into discs. Wrap in plastic and refrigerate for 20 minutes.

Roll each disc out into a thin layer and cut into 6 circles. Cut a heart shape out of one side of each circle.  Spoon pie filling onto one half of circle, then fold to close. Crimp edges with a fork to seal.

Whisk together egg and water, and brush mixture over the top of each pie. Bake at 425 for 15-17 minutes.  Cool before serving.
